I have a Townhome at the Domain (same street as starbucks!) that I need to sublet because we need to downsize. It will be for the next 6 months starting in September 2010 ending in February 2011. You can renew at the end of the lease but that would be your own deal. The rent is at $1836 plus water bill and your own utilities. Our average City of Austin bill in the middle of 100degree sumer has been $78!! It's got a great layout for roommate situations making it about $612/person for 3roommates! If you're doing the roommate thing, have your group set up ahead of time.
It is not on a UT shuttle route but there are regular bus stops nearby and the culinary school is a hop and a skip away!
It is a two story building on a corner lot, which means more windows than other homes! There are two bedrooms upstairs with their own bathrooms plus washer and dryer connections. Downstairs there is a third full bathroom plus an extra room that can be a, study, a nice guest bedroom, or storage.
There are only a few townhomes in the whole complex and they are all on waiting list. We asked and they do not know when the next one will be available so if you wanted to get into one of them now is your chance!!
